So we had our first doctor visit this afternoon and I am so proud of Robert for making it through it without getting completely grossed out!
But back to the subject at hand, the baby is good. Officially I am 6 weeks and 3 days, so the doctor's estimated due date is Aug. 30. They did an ultrasound and we saw our little peanut (well a fuzzy looking thing) for the first time. Heart beat was good and all the insides look fine as well. Funny, I called it our peanut and the nurse said well it is more like a rice crispie, so your call on what you want to call it.
As you can see I posted our first picture and I am sure there will be many more to come. Hope you guys like this blog idea and check in often to see how our family is changing!

I'm so excited! I'm glad you've been feeling okay. Just keep eating!! That baby needs all the food he/she can get! Mya misses her Tia Cathy and her Gizmo. Love the blog, good way to keep everyone informed (w/out having to say the same thing over and over in person) :) Love you! - Jill
Your mom and I Cathy and Robert are happy that you are going to have a little boy.
Boys are fun and bring a lot of joy to the family. They need to be loved and given the right nuture and example.
The Valentino family will now have a lot of opportunities and experiences with your new addition. Savor the moments and time you all spend together. These are memories that will last you a lifetime..............and without memories, life is not lived to its fullest.
